While Greater Atlanta Christian's win against Mill Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans won by a set and slipped past the Hawks 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Greater Atlanta Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Amyra Burchik paced Greater Atlanta Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Burchik got some help from Rita Taylor and her 29 assists. Burchik was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was MJ Lynch, who had 14 digs and two aces.

Greater Atlanta Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Mill Creek, they dropped their record down to 16-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
