Softball Game Preview: East Jefferson Warriors vs. Crescent City Christian Pioneers

The East Jefferson Warriors will challenge the Crescent City Christian Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

East Jefferson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 17 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against St. Martin's Episcopal on Wednesday. They lost 21-1 to the Saints.

Meanwhile, Crescent City Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against McGehee, falling 19-0.

East Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crescent City Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went East Jefferson's way against Crescent City Christian in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as East Jefferson made off with a 20-0 win.
