Baseball Recap: Louisville Takes a Loss

Louisville fell victim to Archbishop Hoban and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Knights. The Leopards' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Louisville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Rice, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Louisville's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Archbishop Hoban, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Louisville will host Boardman at 5:00 p.m. on May 7. As for Archbishop Hoban, they are taking a road trip to challenge Steele at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.4, the Comets 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
