Softball Recap: Faribault Comes Up Short

The Faribault Falcons came up short against the Randolph Rockets on Saturday, falling 11-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Faribault's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Randolph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Faribault will face off against Mankato East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Randolph, they will take on Lewiston-Altura at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
