Vandegrift won the last time they faced Hutto and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vipers put the hurt on the Hippos with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vipers.

Vandegrift's got stronger as the match went on, holding Hutto to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-8.

Jenna Hehman paced Vandegrift's offense, picking up 20 kills. Hehman got some help from Sadie Jorgensen and her 34 assists. Hehman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Isobel Cullen, each putting up three.

Vandegrift's win bumped their record up to 22-20. As for Hutto, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-27 record this season.

Vandegrift didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Vista Ridge on the 24th. Hutto does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
