Softball Recap: Mifflin County Takes a Loss

Mifflin County fell victim to Chambersburg and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Trojans. The Huskies have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Mifflin County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Chambersburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mifflin County will welcome Cedar Cliff at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies are facing the Colts at the right time seeing as the Colts are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Chambersburg, they will be playing at home against Altoona at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Trojans' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Mountain Lions have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
