Caldwell Academy entered their tilt with Carmel Christian on Friday with five consecutive wins dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 83-75. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 61-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Carmel Christian lost, don't look at Jordan Buzzard. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. Jesh Gutierrez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Caldwell Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
