Basketball Recap: Colfax-Mingo Takes a Loss

Colfax-Mingo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the North Mahaska Warhawks, falling 70-33. That's two games in a row now that the Tigerhawks have lost by exactly 37 points.

Colfax-Mingo's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Mahaska, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colfax-Mingo will take on English Valleys in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Mahaska and Moravia will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
