It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clovis North had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Madera Coyotes, sneaking past 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Broncos have posted since April 2nd.
Jocelynn Gonzalez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 22 consecutive appearances.
