It was a proper cat-fight when Burley challenged Jerome on Saturday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Tigers. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Burley, bringing their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Jerome, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Burley by a score of 5-3 later that day.
