Calvert entered their tilt with Old Fort on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Stockaders 6-0. That's more bragging rights for the Senecas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not much got past Tucker Coleman, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Old Fort off the board. Coleman has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Calvert's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Connor Moyer, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was Moyer's first of the season.

Calvert's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Old Fort, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
