Football Game Preview: Webster vs. Cornell/Lake Holcombe

On Friday Webster take on Cornell/Lake Holcombe at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.

The last time they encountered one another, Unity outplayed Webster 28-30. This time around? Get ready for this: It was close but no cigar for Webster as they fell 28-30 to Unity last Saturday. If you felt some intense deja vu just there, it's no doubt because Webster and Unity finished with exactly the same score the last time they met.

Meanwhile, Cornell/Lake Holcombe put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the contest and then some with a 50-7 win over Cameron. The success made it back-to-back wins for Cornell/Lake Holcombe.

Cornell/Lake Holcombe's victory lifted them to 6-2 while Webster's loss dropped them down to 3-4. We'll see if Cornell/Lake Holcombe's success rolls on or if Webster are able to steal their positive momentum.
