Preview: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Creek Valley Storm
Peetz is 8-1 against Creek Valley since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Peetz Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Creek Valley Storm at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Peetz focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
Peetz has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 40 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Banner County 66-18 on the road. With Peetz ahead 46-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Peetz's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Noah Naegele, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds, and Rhyder Bayne , who scored 20 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Chance Seglke, who scored six points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Creek Valley, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They were outmatched by Hay Springs on the road and fell 76-41. Creek Valley has not had much luck with Hay Springs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Peetz's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Creek Valley, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
Peetz strolled past Creek Valley when the teams last played back in February by a score of 60-43. Will Peetz repeat their success, or does Creek Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
