Basketball Game Preview: Milby Buffs vs. Austin Mustangs

The Milby Buffs will square off against the Austin Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Saturday, Milby lost to Westbury at home by a 50-32 margin. The Buffs haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Austin unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 33-23 to Sterling. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Milby's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Austin, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Milby came up short against Austin in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 37-29. Can Milby avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
