Recap: Quartz Hill Royals vs. Littlerock Lobos
The Quartz Hill Royals's six-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They took down Littlerock 52-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Quartz Hill also won the last time the pair played back in November.
Quartz Hill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty'Jahwuan Jackson , who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Jackson set a new season high mark in assists with five. Another player making a difference was Jaidyn Norman , who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Quartz Hill's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.67 points. As for Littlerock, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Quartz Hill will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Palmdale at 6:30 p.m. on January 17, 2024. Littlerock and Jordan will round out the year against one another at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at. Jordan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Littlerock likes a good challenge.
