Traverse City Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ellsworth Lancers, falling 14-1. The Sabres' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Cali Bilderback made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Traverse City Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Ellsworth, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Traverse City Christian will head out to challenge Mason County Eastern at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Ellsworth, they will welcome Mancelona at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
