Baseball Game Preview: Sulligent Blue Devils vs. Hamilton Lions

Sulligent hasn't had much luck against Hamilton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Blue Devils will head out to take on the Lions at 5:00 p.m. Sulligent has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sulligent lost 12-3 to Winfield on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Lions entered their tilt with the Aggies on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Aggies. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since February 27th.

Sulligent's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for the Lions, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Sulligent might still be hurting after the 9-2 defeat they got from Hamilton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
