Baseball Recap: Montgomery Catholic Gets the Win

Montgomery Catholic gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Elmore County Panthers. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly three runs.

Aidan Fleet was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2025.

Montgomery Catholic has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Catholic will challenge Montgomery Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Elmore County, they will square off against Opelika at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
