Basketball Game Preview: Minor Tigers vs. Parker Thundering Herd

The Minor Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Parker Thundering Herd at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Minor came up short against Homewood and fell 38-29. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Parker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-35 loss at the hands of Homewood. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Thundering Herd have suffered against the Patriots since January 23, 2018.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Minor, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.

Minor took their victory against Parker when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 57-36. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Parker's Teralyn Hill, who dropped a triple-double on 22 points, ten boards, and ten blocks.
