Baseball Recap: Oaks Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against Aquinas

Oaks Christian scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Aquinas Falcons by a score of 11-10. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Lions, who until this contest were averaging four runs allowed.

Oaks Christian got a good showing from Christian Ipsen, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Quentin Young made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He also launched a home run, which is notable because Oaks Christian is 4-2 when he posts at least one home run, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Joshua Brown, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
