It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Shades Valley had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Gardendale Rockets 4-1. Considering Shades Valley have won 12 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kimberly Villa Acosta and Catherine Nelson scored all four of Shades Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Shades Valley's victory bumped their record up to 13-5-3. As for Gardendale, they moved to 13-6-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Shades Valley nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
