Biggsville West Central barely beat ROWVA/Williamsfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Heat blew past the Cougars 12-2 on Saturday. Considering the Heat have won 18 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Miley Stimpson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up 19 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Biggsville West Central got a big performance out of Addie Seitz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with four RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Ferguson, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Biggsville West Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.
