Basketball Recap: East Clinton Comes Up Short

After soaring to 66 points the game before, East Clinton was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Versailles Tigers and fell 75-26. While losing is never fun, the Astros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 817th, while the Tigers are ranked 130th).

East Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Versailles, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-6.

East Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Versailles, they will face off against Milton-Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Versailles' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
