Scranton hadn't done well against North Pocono recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Trojans 5-3. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Connor Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brady Donahue, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Drew Leonori was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Scranton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for North Pocono, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Scranton will face off against West Scranton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Pocono, they will square off against Northampton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Konkrete Kids have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
