The St. Louis Sharks will head out on the road to square off against the Ogemaw Heights Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Louis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Paige Luneack spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.6 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Kenadie Henry and Olivia Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Henry went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Brown went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Henry a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Halle Hoyt, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.
St. Louis hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beaverton struck out 16 times.
Meanwhile, Ogemaw Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shepherd.
Caleigh Brindley was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. MaKenzie Benjamin also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
St. Louis' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Ogemaw Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Ogemaw Heights' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: St. Louis hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321.
