Softball Preview: Green Canyon Wolves vs. Mountain Crest Mustangs
Green Canyon is 0-10 against Mountain Crest since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the pair will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 3:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Sadly, Green Canyon is still looking for their first win of the season after seven contests. They fell 5-2 to Sky View last Friday.

Meanwhile, Mountain Crest was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell just short of Bear River by a score of 4-3. The defeat was just more heartbreak for Mountain Crest, who fell 4-2 when the teams last met back in April of 2023.
Aspen Leishman put in work while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (she also only allowed one walk). Leishman was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double.
Leishman wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sage Walker, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Green Canyon's record is now 0-7. As for Mountain Crest, their record is now 2-12.
