Davion Peters Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Friday, Lake Belton had to settle for second even though Davion Peters put up the best numbers he has all season. Peters rushed for 164 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 81 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

This season, Peters has averaged 64.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after 11 games last season, he was only averaging 34.45 receiving yards per game.
