Volleyball Recap: Capistrano Valley Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yucaipa Thunderbirds.

Capistrano Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Yucaipa, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Capistrano Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Carlsbad on the 6th. As for Yucaipa, they will host Norco at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
