Softball Recap: Davidson Wins Going Away Against Vigor

Davidson won against Rain on Thursday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Warriors blew past the Vigor Wolves 18-2. Considering the Warriors have won six contests by more than 11 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Vigor, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Davidson beat the Wolves by a score of 15-0 later that day.
