Cameron Eastman gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Monday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

Even though Eastman couldn't lead Cheney over El Dorado, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Eastman's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Cardinals' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Eastman and the Cardinals surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
