Everything went their way against the Caribou Vikings on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-3 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Coyotes with their most commanding win of the season.
Julian Duty made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Nate Baker and Alex McCannell did most of the damage at the plate: Baker went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles, while McCannell went 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI.
