If Marshalltown beats Ames with 58 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Marshalltown managed a 58-54 win over Waterloo East on Friday. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Ames waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Dodgers 72-44. The Little Cyclones have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Ames pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Marshalltown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.
