It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Reading Memorial can now relate to. They came up short against the King Philip Regional Warriors on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rockets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Reading Memorial was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-16.

Charlie Ballestas paced Reading Memorial's offense, picking up 18 kills. Ballestas got some help from Gianna Miceli and her 20 assists. Mary Furey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Reading Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for King Philip Regional, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Reading Memorial nor King Philip Regional have any future games scheduled.
