Softball Recap: West Brook Comes Up Short

West Brook came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Sterling Rangers. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost five in a row.

Kehaira Haines (2025) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases.

West Brook's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Sterling, the victory got them back to even at 8-8-1.

Looking ahead, West Brook will host Port Arthur Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Sterling, they will head out on the road to square off against Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Ganders will have lost 12 straight heading into Tuesday's game.
