Recap: McDonough vs. Lovett
The McDonough Warhawks fell victim to the Lovett Lions's stalwart defense on Monday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 10-0 walloping at the hands of the Lions. McDonough has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
McDonough's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lovett, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McDonough will take on Luella at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McDonough is facing Luella at the right time seeing as Luella is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lovett, they will be playing at home against Walker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walker is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
