Baseball Recap: Lewiston Bengals vs. Moscow Bears
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Lewiston and Moscow meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Bengals came up short against the Bears, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-7 loss on Thursday.
Lewiston saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Henson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Lewiston has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Moscow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
