Father Judge is 8-1 against Conwell-Egan Catholic since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Father Judge will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Lansdale Catholic on Monday. Father Judge was the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over Lansdale Catholic. Father Judge hasn't had any issues with Lansdale Catholic recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kevin Krause was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Will Henderson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Father Judge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Conwell-Egan Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand La Salle College a 3-0 shutout on Monday.
Chase Forester tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Conwell-Egan Catholic is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Conwell-Egan Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Landau, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Joey Ortiz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Father Judge pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Conwell-Egan Catholic, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Father Judge came out on top in a nail-biter against Conwell-Egan Catholic when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 4-2. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
