Football Recap: East Rockingham Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Rockingham lost against Central Woodstock back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost to the Falcons on the road by a 28-14 margin. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Falcons are ranked 96th).

East Rockingham's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Central Woodstock, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Rockingham will square off against Page County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Woodstock, they will take on Broadway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
