While Garfield put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Struthers. The G-Men put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 15-0 win. The G-Men might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Garfield, bringing their record up to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Struthers, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Garfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Newton Falls on the 22nd. As for Struthers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-5 defeat against Howland on the 22nd.
