Marquette Manor Baptist Academy won the last time they faced Families of Faith Christian Academy and Sophia Mukenschnabl did her part to make sure it happened again. The Minutemen narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Screaming Eagles 2-1 for which the team can thank Mukenschnabl, who had 27 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Marquette Manor Baptist Academy got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 25-9.

Marquette Manor Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Families of Faith Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
