Flag Football Recap: Eaglecrest's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Arapahoe came into Wednesday's game looking for another win against Eaglecrest, but Naomi Emecheta wouldn't allow it. The Raptors secured a 12-7 W over the Warriors on Wednesday for which the team can thank Emecheta, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 104 yards on nine of 14 attempts. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making seven total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Eaglecrest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jacy Surrell and Emecheta. Emecheta's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

The win was the third in a row for Eaglecrest, bringing their record up to 4-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Arapahoe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

As of now, neither Eaglecrest nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
