Softball Recap: Edison Triumphs

The third road game was the charm for Edison, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the McLane Highlanders by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Highlanders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Julie Hinchey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Edison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amari Ingram, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Edison now has a winning record of 4-3. As for McLane, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Edison will take on Orange Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLane, they will challenge Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
