Preview: Warrenton Warriors vs. Southeast Knights
The Warrenton Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Southeast Knights on Wednesday. Warrenton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Warrenton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Howell North, but they still walked away with a 41-35 victory. Given Warrenton's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Howell North is ranked 526th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Southeast's 20-10 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Chillicothe an easy 52-29 victory. Southeast has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Warrenton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
