Flag Football Game Preview: Pacific Collegiate Pumas vs. North Monterey County Condors + Official Tickets

The Pacific Collegiate Pumas are taking a road trip to face off against the North Monterey County Condors at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Pacific Collegiate 8.7, North Monterey County 8.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Pacific Collegiate needed a bit of extra time to put away Everett Alvarez. They managed an 18-12 win over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, North Monterey County was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They took a blow against Pajaro Valley, falling 32-0. The Condors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

North Monterey County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Crystal Derrer, Maya Ibarra, and Danae Diaz picked up one apiece.

Pacific Collegiate pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for North Monterey County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.

Pacific Collegiate came up short against North Monterey County when the teams last played back in September, falling 6-0. Can the Pumas avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
