Football Game Preview: Redfield Pheasants vs. Florence/Henry Falcons

The Redfield Pheasants are taking a road trip to square off against the Florence/Henry Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Redfield has given up an average of 49.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Redfield took a blow against Warner, falling 55-14. While losing is never fun, the Pheasants can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Monarchs are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Florence/Henry, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Wilmot, posting a 48-18 win. The Falcons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

This is the second loss in a row for Redfield and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Florence/Henry, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Redfield took a serious blow against Florence/Henry in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 42-7. Can the Pheasants avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
