Baseball Recap: South Iron Starts Season with Draw on the Road

South Iron's season-opener on Friday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. They and the Jefferson Blue Jays finished up their game with a 7-7 draw.

With that tie, Jefferson's record moves to 1-0-1.

Coincidentally, South Iron and Jefferson will both be playing North County the next time they take the field. Jefferson will head out to face North County at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while South Iron will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
