Hurricane has gone 8-2 against Dixie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Flyers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Hurricane sitting on four straight wins and Dixie on three.
Hurricane came out on top against Stansbury on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run seventh inning. The Tigers took their game against the Stallions 13-9.

Hurricane got a massive performance out of Katelyn Slack, who went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Slack a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addi Lauritzen, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Hurricane was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They are 7-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Dixie never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Pine View as they made off with a 15-0 victory. Considering the Flyers have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Brenlie Phelps made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Phelps was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Dixie let Eliza Kesterson and Morgan Staheli run wild. Kesterson went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double, while Staheli got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. PEYTON HATCH was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
Hurricane's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Dixie, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.
Hurricane's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's contest. The Tigers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Dixie, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Hurricane continue to outrun the ball?
Hurricane beat Dixie 11-8 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Flyers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
