Basketball Recap: North Mason Comes Up Short

After flying high against Orting last Saturday, North Mason came back down to earth. The North Mason Bulldogs fell to the Port Angeles Roughriders 46-41. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Roughriders this season, with their most recent loss being a 58-33 defeat back in January.

North Mason dropped their record down to 15-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Port Angeles, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Coming up, North Mason will challenge Clover Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Angeles, they will venture away from home to face off against Eatonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eatonville comes in on 11 and Port Angeles on six.
