Recap: Sanford-Fritch Eagles vs. Highland Park Hornets
This season hasn't been kind to the Sanford-Fritch Eagles, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They were dealt a 55-28 defeat at the hands of Highland Park on Friday. Sanford-Fritch lost against Highland Park in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 28-13 score last time.
Brady Thomspon went supernova for Highland Park, throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyes Torres, who picked up 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Sanford-Fritch's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.0 points per game. As for Highland Park, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
Sanford-Fritch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highland Park also has no future games currently scheduled.
