With a playoff win on the line, Anthony Wayne rose to the challenge on Thursday. They never let the Ross Little Giants get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Anthony Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Ross, they moved to 9-17 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Ross wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-7 defeat against Clay on the 21st. Hopefully Anthony Wayne paid attention to the Little Giants' contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Little Giants at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
